I knew all about parenting before I had kids. Then I had one. Here’s a place where I write about my, um, learning curve.
I am a lot of things, but for the purpose of this description, I’ll limit it to Super Wifey, freelance writer, compulsive list-maker, and mother to a spirited (and yes, that’s a euphemism) one-year-old. I oscillate between surprise, gratitude, and terror when I reflect on my current lot in life as an actual parent who is RESPONSIBLE FOR A CHILD’S WELL-BEING. AHHHHHHH.
I am originally from Halifax, NS, but now find myself living in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia.
As for all the other things about me, I’ll let you judge me based on my writing (and hopefully not my parenting, because you would never do that, would you?).
